Andrew and I have both fallen in love with our oh-so-convenient location. We can walk or bike to three nearby shopping centers, two grocery stores, the University, a major bus depot, the train station. We arrive in Calgary a little after noon July 26.
In the other cities we drove through (Regina and Winnipeg), there is a sign to announce your arrival at the city limits, but all you see for another kilometer or so is more of the same fields you’ve been seeing for hours. We arrive at the U.S. Customs office at Pembina, ND on Monday afternoon July 23 to present the vehicle title and get permission to take our vehicle to Canada. The week before, I had to contact the company that has the lien on the vehicle to ask them to send a letter to the customs office to give me permission to take a vehicle they technically ( Read more... )
